"I attended the concert on 4-21-10 in West Palm Beach. The music was described to me as similar to the PBS show, but that was not the case. I adore these women and their music, however, the show's producer is promoting a program that relies too heavily on recorded music. They tour without their full orchestra and only bring along six choir members. This impacted both the quality of their performance and the selection of songs. With just three string instruments, two percussionists, a pianist (not the one from television), and six choir members, they were limited in the songs they could perform. The absence of 'America' from the setlist was noticeable due to the lack of a live trumpet. Considering the ticket price, more effort should have been made to ensure a higher quality show. I left feeling very let down. The abundant use of recorded material made me question the authenticity of the entire production. Were they miming? It's uncertain. Was the violinist actually playing? There was a moment where she seemed slightly out of sync with the music. Just some thoughts..."
